Elizabeth began her career as a professional classical singer, before moving into education and then business. Her music and education qualifications include a music degree, a PhD in Performance Studies, a PGDip in Vocal Performance, an LTCL in Vocal Teaching, and a PGCE in Primary Teaching with a Music Specialism.
Elizabeth taught in schools for many years before becoming a Business Development Manager for an International Examinations board, which was the springboard to her career development into the world of business.
Elizabeth holds a Level 5 Award in Professional Consulting, and lectures in Business at conservatoires and universities across the UK. She also runs two businesses herself, Music Education Solutions® and Aria Marketing, and is a director of several other companies.
Her experience as a performer and her wealth of knowledge make Elizabeth an ideal speaker for business and education events. She is in great demand as a guest lecturer for both education and business, as well as a music adjudicator for festivals and competitions.
Elizabeth is also in demand as a business consultant, working with companies large and small across all sectors to achieve their goals. She has a particular interest in start-ups, and business planning and strategy, and of course businesses linked to music or education!
As a writer, Elizabeth regularly contributes to publications such as Teach Primary and Music Teacher Magazine, as well as editing her own e-zine Primary Music Magazine.
